Founded in 1999, Cyril Yoga Ayurvedic Center in North Goa is an echo of the traditional gurukul system wherein the ancient principles and practices of yoga and Ayurveda are practiced in a relaxed environment. Through yoga, Ayurveda, massage and spa therapies, efforts are aimed not only towards restoring the balance and harmony within the individual but also for cultivating self healing attributes as a way of overcoming stress and strain. While trained professionals work towards relieving pain on one hand by applying various cleansing and detoxification techniques, knowledge is imparted in the traditional oral style to students in an atmosphere that fosters learning and spirituality.

The yoga package offered by the center concentrates on hatha and ashtanga yoga styles wherein the duration of every class is 90 minutes and the cost is Rs.500/-. Students have the option of paying for 10 classes in advance in which case they are given a discount of Rs.4000/- but anyone interested in a one-to-one yoga session should be willing to shell out as much as Rs.2000/- per session.

Ayurvedic rejuvenation packages last for 7, 14, 21 and 28 days with the duration being subject to change only if suggested by the physician. Likewise, the cost ranges from a minimum of USD 800 for a 7-day package to a maximum of USD 2300 for a 28-day package. This cost is inclusive of airport pick-up and drop, accommodation and intake of special food and medications. An imperative prerequisite here is physical examination of the patient prior to embarking on any treatment and the feeling subsequent to treatment is that of being nourished, cleansed, restored and stimulated.
