Dhanvantri Arogyashram

The company started in 1913 by Bhishak Ratna Ayurveda Vidwan B.V.Pundit.

The Arogyashram Trust is currently run by nine trustees. Padmabhushan Prof. Dr. B.V.Sreekantan as its Chairman. The objective is to provide authentic Ayurvedic treatment for various diseases and to indulge in activities related to the promotion, progress, and development of the science of Ayurveda.

At the Arogyashram we have successfully treated over 300,000 patients, supported by the genuine and authentic Ayurvedic products manufactured by the parents' company, Arogyashram has brought tremendous relief to patients suffering from disorders like asthma, anxiety, arthritis, back pain, diabetes, depression, eczema, hypertension, obesity, psoriasis, etc. by using Panchakarma and other traditional Ayurvedic treatment procedures which are without any adverse effects.

After the treatment, the doctors will design an at home program suited for the patient's physiology and specific problems. Simple lifestyle changes, diet, herbs or herbal medicines and exercise will be recommended to help you maintain lasting benefits.

At the junction of the two rivers stands an ancient mythologically important Temple of Lord Srikanteshwara. This Lord is accredited with the greatness of having miraculously restored the eyesight of the Royal elephant during the Reign of Emperor Tippu Sultan and is famous as "Hakeem Nanjunda".

In this sacred town is located Arogyashram amidst a cluster of Mexican Linaloe plants, emanating a delightful aroma and creating an antimicrobial atmosphere.
Advanced reservation is obligatory, those who want to undergo treatment should write to Arogyashram at least 15 days in advance. Registration fee is Rs. 250/- and caution deposit is Rs. 1500/-. However a deposit of Rs. 10,000/- is to be made at the time of admission. Patients can arrange for food or if required food will be provided by Arogyashram. However, the diet prescribed by the Dietician has to be strictly followed.
