I AIM
This is a six-month government-sponsored course on Ayurveda basics. It is offered in English by 20 experienced clinicians and of Ayurveda and Yoga instructors. The course covers an extensive curriculum, including practical internship experience and cumulative exams. The all-inclusive course fee is 62,000 rupees.
Learning Objectives for the course are: to be skilled in performing panchakarma therapies under the supervision of a physician, to have an understanding of basic concepts of Ayurveda, anatomy, and physiology in relation to the practice of panchakarma therapy, to be able to identify plants used in panchakarma therapy and prepare herbal formulations for panchakarma procedures, to know the description and proper use of each instrument in relation to every panchakarma procedure.
