Prajna Kuteera

Prajna Kuteera is a unique center for Ayurveda, yoga, and service. Founded as a joint venture with an organization that provides much-needed medical services to remote Karnataka villages, Prajna Kuteera has been healing, preventing disease and educating the public on the science of Ayurveda for more than two decades.

The center's aim is to promote healthy living through Ayurveda by harmonizing the mind, body, and consciousness.

Doctors N.V. and Poornima Krishnamurthy are gold medalists from Mysore University, and an internationally recognized husband and wife team rooted in the ancient tradition of Ayurveda and actively addressing modern community needs.

With these leading health specialists and a staff of four professional assistants, the Prajna Kuteera wellness program offers excellence in both treatment and education.

The Mysore facility offers traditional panchakarma packages and individual consultation and treatment in a modern therapy center, as well as education in Ayurveda, yoga, and Sanskrit.

The education program includes introductory (1-month) to in-depth (12-month) courses in topics including basic Ayurveda, Panchakarma, rejuvenation, pharmacology, yoga, and Sanskrit.

Prajna Kuteera has extensive experience working with international students and also offers extensive service initiatives in the local community addressing the most relevant issues such as obesity management, pediatric immunization.
