Swaasthya Ayurveda Retreat Village

The beautiful area known as Coorg has been described as the Scotland of India and is full of many plants that are used in Ayurvedic medicine. Lakeside, the new Retreat Village is surrounded by lush green foliage, paddy fields, coffee plantations, and beautiful misty mountains. Our journey in bringing health, well being, and healing began in 2004, just 12 km away from Mysore town. Due to the popularization which has led to an increase in the pollution of the area, we decided to move our retreat to its new home in South Coorg, which is 240 Kms from Bangalore, via Mysore. We still have our clinic location in Mysore city.

Ayurveda is the science of how to live, it is the accumulation of techniques in the healing arts passed down from the Rishis, or seers, from ancient India. This practice is a way of finding imbalances in the body and cleansing the body from the impurities that cause illness or disease. Here at Swaasthya Ayurveda Retreat Village, we have guests come from all over the world to enjoy our beautiful settings and the benefits of Ayurvedic healing. At this location in addition to the Ayurveda treatments, we also provide yoga and meditation classes.

Our food is simple and vegetarian, it is adjusted for your body and the treatment you are undergoing, therefore we ask that no outside food or drink be brought to the premises. All the accommodations include private/ bathroom and shower, and are all without a/c as it is not necessary for our climate, or conducive to the healing treatments. The climate is excellent from October to May- and good during summer, from February to May.
