Santhosh Ayur Clinic, a subsidiary of Santhosh Pharmacy, one of the oldest, yet modern ayurvedic treatment facilities in Kerala started in 1969 by Chief Physician Mr. K. Velayudhan in Kadalundi Nagaram, a small town in Malappuram district of Kerala. Santhosh Pharmacy specializes in manufacturing Ayurvedic products and offers specialty Ayurvedic treatments at its facilities.

Today, Santhosh Ayur Clinic is owned and maintained by Dr. K. Vijoy BAMS, MD (Ay.), the grandson of Sri. Appan Vaidyar and son of Mr. K. Velayudhan, the founder of Santhosh Pharmacy. Dr. Soorya Vijoy BAMS leads ayurvedic treatments at Santhosh Ayurveda Specialty Clinic along with Dr. Vijoy BAMS, MD (Ay.).

It had been an unconventional venture for Mr. K Velayudhan to start an ayurvedic hospital at the time of ayurvedic treatments strictly being offered at home and thus pioneered the efforts of making Ayurveda, one of the most sought-after alternative medicines in the world. Mr. Appan Vaidyar, one of the most famous Ayurvedic practitioners, the father of Mr. K. Velayudhan deserves a special place in the history of Santhosh pharmacy as the source of sound knowledge and expertise in traditional ayurvedic treatment methods which still forms the base for Santhosh Pharmacy.

The Santhosh Ayur clinic was established with the sound knowledge of ayurvedic treatments inherited from ancestors who treated patients at home with herbs and strict adherence to lifestyle instructions as the major capital, continues its success tales today on the same principles.
